About the gig:
BRISBANE ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE is set to stage the only Queensland round of SUPERCROSS MASTERS this year --- Saturday 29 JULY – and reserve seat tickets are on sale now!
US hotshot TIMMY WEIGAND and his KTM squad lead the charge back to the celebrated Brisbane indoor venue… Weigand holds a four points advantage over of horde of factory guns including Yamaha’s CHEYNE BOYD, Queensland Kawasaki tyro DAN REARDON, New Zealand Suzuki pilots DARYL HURLEY and LUKE BURKHART and Honda’s very determined CRAIG ANDERSON.
Ando has returned to the best form of his career; he should have won the most recent round of SUPERCROSS MASTERS in Perth; now Weigand is in his sights.
The Brisbane Entertainment Centre was close to full last year and this year promises even better things with so much competition in the Opens class.
As well, the Lites are throwing up booming action with MITCHELL HOAD threatening a hat-trick for his Kawwasaki factory team against the likes of Taylor, Holland, Marmont and Dorron.
Zany Freestyle Motocross in the M2R Expression Session and Quick 50s complete the two-wheel action.
And the mighty Monster Trucks are back… the awesome 2,000 horsepower MONSTER PATROL plus a very special soon-to-land US supertruck.
The meeting starts at the new time of 6.30 pm so as to accommodate all the action. Monster trucks will perform at 9.00pm.
The night winds up with the traditional Demolition Derby mayhem.
